"Wet Fly (Robin) has done it again; another radar arch/tower completed! After giving Robin
numerous design challenges, he came through with exactly what I wanted and needed. By
being able to collapse the tower, I am still able to keep the boat in the garage. Because it is
mounted near the front of the boat, there is nothing in the way of our fishing on the sides.
After numerous modifications, different CAD drawings, and about 3 weeks of work, he
produced the following:
Now that I have all the antennas mounted, will it still fit in the garage?
First the radar dome……………………………. Makes it under and in.
Now the forward legs………………………….. No problem!
And there it is, tucked nicely into the garage.
Here’s a picture of the ‘nifty’ rod holder/mini-outrigger holder that he was able to devise for
me.
I have to say that Robin truly cares about the customer and the quality of his work. He was
inventive and resourceful in designing this custom project for me. His attention to detail was
superb. His welds are clean, smooth, and then he takes the time to buff all the metal so
there are no rough or sharp edges. This also assures that the coating will adhere well. As
you can tell, I am delighted with the product and the process. Robin, thanks again!"
