The scenario is we measure and photograph your boat. Then we draw up the
design including every item you want built into the arch. Then we take the
completed drawing and attach it to the picture of your boat, so you can see exactly
what the design looks like and make any changes you want..
Once you approve the design it is sent to the shop and the building process
begins. When the Arch is near the final stage it is positioned on your boat for the
final fit. After the arch is finished it is sent to the Powder coaters.
We do not use the hard powder coating for offshore boats, instead we use
Plasticoat. Plasticoat is a softer material that does not chip like the standard
powder coating. Plasticoat resists corrosion creep associated with the harder
plastic coatings available. In addition, you can grip Plasticoat when it is wet,
making Plasticoat a desirable safety feature.
